All the cats are neutered. Very young kittens are still to be neutered when of age. < Nikki is a handsome young male, about a year old, very friendly and loving, and loves to be part of a family. He enjoys attention and loves helping out with whatever one happens to be doing. He will be a great asset to your family. Lilly May is a young and very lovely female cat who loves to be around people. She is 10 months old, and is now neutered and vaccinated. Lilly May is very playful and gets on very well with other cats. She was abandoned, last October, in a busy street in Bugibba and had nowhere to shelter from the heavy rains. Lilly May is a healthy young cat and eagerly waiting to be adopted. This very loving 10 month old male cat was first rescued as a very tiny kitten by a young foreign person who promised to give him a loving home. Unfortunately, as happens all too often, the novelty of having a 'baby' soon wore off and poor Earl found himself homeless. Earl is as loving and trusting as ever, and truly deserves a chance to a good home. He gets on very well with other cats. Young Jeuls has had an unlucky start in life. His adoptive 'parents', who found him so cute when he was a tiny kitten, fell out of love with him. The young cat, only about 8 months old, was thrown out like a piece of unwanted garbage. Jeuls is a sweet natured, friendly but timid young cat who needs a good and loving home. Jeuls has been neutered and vaccinated. Ollio is a lovely, long-haired young male about 18 months old. He was recently abandoned into a colony of stray cats but the poor cat, who had abviously no experience with other cats, was too frightened and looked for shelter in a restaurant. Maybe he was attracted to the smell of food however he did not have enough to pay for a meal and was chucked out again. Now the shelter provides him with a roof, a bed and a meal but Ollio is looking for a loving family to call his own. Felix is a very lovely male who was abandoned in a public garden. He was picked up after a feeder noticed he was having trouble eating his food. A visit to the vet discovered he had several rotten teeth which have since been extracted. Eating, as can well be seen, is no longer a problem !! Felix is very friendly and affectionate. He gets on very well with other cats and has a very sweet and placid nature. He is a big but gentle giant. Sweet Pina is only a year old but she has already had the misfortune of being abandoned twice in her very short life. We rescued her as a tiny kitten when she and her sibblings were abandoned in a cardbord box. After bringing them back to health they all found good loving homes - except that Pina's did not turn out to be so loving, after all. After a year her owner decided to move on without her, and returned her to us. Pina is a very sweet, quiet and gentle cat. She is easily intimidated by other cats so a home on her own would suit her best. Pebbles is a sweet and gentle female of about 2 years. She was abandoned into a colony I feed and every day she would jump into my car and beg for a home. every day, feeding finished, i would put her back and hope she would settle. One evening she won. She is now at the shelter and she is the happiest cat alive. Pebbles is such a good grateful cat she deserves the best home in the world. Cicco is about 3 years old and was rescued after he got stuck in a car engine. Unfortunately his owner never turned up to claim him, so Cicco was left homeless. He is a very good natured and friendly cat. Cicco has been with us for over 2 years and is still looking. Barney is an outgoing 5 year old three-legged cat who was rescued almost a year ago. Barney was in a most terrible way, sick, skinny and his body was covered in wounds. Obviously Barney was not going to make it outdoors. Part of his left back leg is missing but he does well on this three legs and is able to run, climb and jump. Barney is a lovely character, very friendly and loving and will make a wonderful companion to an older person who is looking for a friend and companion. Barney needs to stay on a special diet as he has kidney problems. Preferably he should be in a home with no other cats. Barnaby is 3 years old and has lived as an out-doors cat most of his life. He was by a car and his front leg-bone was badly broken. Barnaby needed an operation and a pin was inserted to save his leg. After 8 weeks of recovery the pin has been removed and Barnaby is back to running on all fours. Barnaby used to live on his feeder's doorstep in a busy street but the street is too dangerous to put him back there. Next time it might be fatal. Barnaby needs a safe home - preferably with a safe garden. He is a friendly cat but also rather nervous of people. Poor Alfie lost his home when his beloved owner sadly passed away. Alfie had never left his home before and he is absolutely terrified of new surroundings. He is a timid but friendly neutered male, ten years old, and needs to be in a safe and loving new home, preferably a quiet home with a caring human companion. < /p> Nina is a 4 year old female who was abandoned when her owners left the island to live abroad. She is a friendly cat but is also very temperamental. Maybe her disappointment at being abandoned by the persons she trusted turned into bad temper !! Nina likes human company and attention but only at her own pace. At other times she likes to be left 'to do her own thing'. She needs a home with someone who is patient and understanding.
